A retro style poster of the Mount Evelyn Railway Station.
Size A1 - (59.4 × 84.1 cm)
The station operated between 13th November 1901 to 1st August 1965. Within a year of it’s opening, the Victorian Railways was offering cheap excursion fares which made the destination very appealing to day trippers, tourists and working class people with limited means for travel. By the 1920’s hundreds of people were travelling to Mount Evelyn on the weekends and during holiday periods. The station masters house remains, but has been extensively modified to operate as a community house. The retaining wall of the station also still remains.
All posters are printed to order. Please allow 3 - 4 business days for your order to be ready for collection or post. To collect your order from our home in Mount Evelyn, please select the “pick up” option at check out.
